Pure Additive Free
Made completely from pine sawdust with no artificial chemicals, additives, starch or bonding agents and glue. Our sawdust is bonded using state-of-the-art high pressure compression technology to form a high quality briquette. UNIK is odour-free and 100% natural.
UNIK burns reliably for up to 6 hours, reducing the need for frequent changing. In contrast, kernel or shell charcoal lasts only for 1 hour and other normal types of charcoal typcially do not last beyond 2 hours.
Fast And Easy Lighting
UNIK briquettes are quicker and easier to light. Our secret is that we use only selected good quality Pine, Beech, Oak, Spruce and Lemon Tree sawdusts in our briquettes. It burns easier than most fuels, thanks to the natural tree resin in the sawdusts.
Smoke Free
With no additives, chemicals or bonding agents (such as starch), UNIK burns cleanly, giving off no smoke and low ash. Low grade charcoal has a much lower fixed carbon content which makes it smoke heavy during cooking.
